Principato

Showing
all the classic dry minerality of the grape, but also with a delightful
pear drop fruit & fullness of body allowing a great match with fish

Reds
Borsao

Light & fresh red from the North of Italy, with smooth red berrry fruits & hints of violets.
Finca
Merlot 2009, Chile 12.5%

with lots of soft, plum fruit. Is a lovely wine that can be drunk alone or with
food on the hot rocks.
Bellefontaine
Syrah, 2006 France 13.5%
A lush medium to full bodied wine. Full, ripe red berry fruits with a dusting of spice, pepper & gentle drying tannins. The full flavour & gentle dryness match up nicely with our meats.
Soldier's Block Shiraz, 2007 Australia 14.5%
Super ozzie shiraz,
really lush, full, creamy, dark berry fruits, hints of spice& wisps
of vanilla. The luscious fruit flavours are full & powerful but not
overly sweet or jammy, making this a great wine on its own or with our
meat on the rocks.
Nieto
Malbec, 2008 Argentina 14%
A
deeply-coloured, powerful red with great concentration of black cherry
& spice. Complex, creamy dark damson and dried fruit with lush
vanilla & plenty of drying tannins on the finish. What better
combination is there than Argentinean malbec & steak
Mommessin
Beaujolais, 2009 France 12%
A well balanced wine made of
indigenous Portuguese grape varietals.
Nice powerful red fruits, but with a slight aged feel & some tannins
to keep some delicacy in there as well.
Chateau Lezongars
Cabernet Merlot, 2005 Bordeaux France 14%
2005 was a legendary vintage in Bordeaux and this wine does not disappoint.
Lovely aromas and pure silky fruit, with plums and cassis and that classic Bordeaux minerality.
Enough fruit to enjoy on its own or comes alive with food.

Fantastic fizz, this has lovely
apple and citrus fruits wrapped up in a rich, biscuit and yeasty character,
with a lovely dry finish.
Ayala Champers
Just a marvellous
wine, lush creamy palate with delicate toast/yeasty richness then a pure,
poised long dry finish. Has much more
depth of flavour & balance than the more well known wines of similar price.
Dessert
Araldica Moscato Passito 2004, Italy 13%
Honeyed, rich and intense with concentrated Muscat characters. It is grapey, aromatic with sweetness balanced by nice acidity and a long powerful, finish.
